Lunch Box 1987
ABOUT THIS IMAGE:
LUNCH BOX 1987 pays tribute to Paul Shaffer and “The World's Most Dangerous Band” with a part of everyone's daily life which is lunch. We prepared all of essential ingredients; a banana, a ham sandwich, Twinkies and a Thermos filled with a mystery juice.
A unique photostat graphic was created for the lunchbox and applied directly to the master chromogenic print. The piano keys were drawn by hand. A hicon portrait of Paul and rubbed-on directly to the original master print.
Late Night bumpers from the NBC show were used as backdrops during the Mark Twain Prize for David Letterman at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC -- October, 2017.
